A non-political poll.

I'm really contemplating getting Esther's hair cut into a short bob WITH BANGS! As I'm still waffling back and forth...I thought I would do an informal poll. So what do you think? Let me know if you think we should keep her hair the way it is or if we should give her bangs.

Dad teaching the fine art of making faces.

Esther as pillow.
New storage idea for markers.
Mom showing E the fine art of painting with water (it takes a lot of skill).
Esther trying to steal Mommy's photo op.
Again with the funny faces. Dad's a pro...Mom, not so much.
"You're soaking in it." (Sorry, old commercial reference.)

I'm not a fan of bangs, but she is beautiful no matter what. She has great hair.....

Short

Anonymous's wife agrees. Short is easier on Mom and I advocate going the easy route anytime it is possible. She is, of course, adorable no matter what you choose. Suzi

I agree with you about the bangs...I'm not a huge fan of them, either. And I've tried to avoid them for a year and a half. But it would make life easier. Ugh! This is why I keep waffling.

Huddle,

I am right there with you...trying to decided if I should have Meilyn's hair cut short. I would love it short...however, she says she wants hers long, not short like Mommy. Sigh!!! So I guess I'll keep it long for now. But if she can't sit still while I fix it, it going to be off with the long hair!

We had our daughters hair in the short bob and I dont know about her hairline but Ava's starts at the back of her head and comes forward. There was always little pieces that ended up with her short bangs. It was super super cute though. Right now I am trying to grow it out .. but once again contemplating cutting it off becuz its SO much easier for everyone involved to do (ah-hem Daddy) Good luck !

Dora votes for long but she doesn't have to take care of it so we can discount that vote. your anonymous father

I think you should be thankful she has enough hair to contemplate this!! LOL. Maybe by the time Lydia starts kindergarten she will have enough hair to cut! Anyway my vote is short. Much easier on Mom. And it will always grow back if you don't like it! Christy

Nana Marilyn thinks a short bob with bangs would be darling. That's how I pictured our little girl before you brought her home.
Papa says short would be nice too.
She would be beautiful no matter what you did to her hair - just like her Mom!

Esther does have nice hair...and maybe if I was a little more creative with it, I would enjoy it more. My styling skills consists of ponytails or hair clips.

I know this comment is`late, but I say go for it. We've decided that Miah's next "trim" will be a short bob. We might as well try all the options now (before she is too opinionated) to see what we like best!
