A non-political poll.

I'm really contemplating getting Esther's hair cut into a short bob WITH BANGS! As I'm still waffling back and forth...I thought I would do an informal poll. So what do you think? Let me know if you think we should keep her hair the way it is or if we should give her bangs.

Dad teaching the fine art of making faces.

Esther as pillow.
New storage idea for markers.
Mom showing E the fine art of painting with water (it takes a lot of skill).
Esther trying to steal Mommy's photo op.
Again with the funny faces. Dad's a pro...Mom, not so much.
"You're soaking in it." (Sorry, old commercial reference.)

Impractical vs. sensible shoes...

Esther has such a Dickens-esque look on her face...."Please, sir, can I have some more?"

Modeling her very cute (but very impractical) shoes that match her skirt perfectly.

I like how E's carrying around her purse and the spaghetti spoon. Must haves for any little girl?
Yeah! A new art smock from Nana Carolyn.

Traipsing over the tree roots (in more sensible shoes).

Giggling and swinging with Nana C.

Eating toothpaste while looking cute.

Less "toothbrushing", more like "brush-biting"

Modeling her new shirt from Aunt Heidi, from Alaska. So cute!

Yeah, she's eating toothpaste...but just so you know, it was the last of the "baby" toothpaste with no flouride. And it was almost empty.
With hood.

There was construction on the underground garage at our condo...so we watched the work from E's bedroom window. I know, I know...it doesn't look very safe.
Taking it all in.

Happy Labor Day!

After a bath one night, Esther dis-appeared...and this is where we found her. In Mom and Dad's bed..."reading".

Reading Daddy a bedtime story.
"I'm going to sleep here tonight, kay?" Yeah, no.
Ivy's birthday party was this weekend. It was a girls' party only...well, except for the dads.
Everyone doing something different.
Now time for play dough! Esther seemed to be over her aversion to anything squishy. Maybe now she'll like jello.
Which one is E's balloon and which one is her dad's head? (Sorry, honey, I had to.)
It was Kenmore's 10th anniversary celebration on Saturday. Esther's sporting her new fire hat.

"I'm outta here."
