The girl loves sweet potatoes!

"All done!"

Hey, there's Juliet's daughter Mia with her grandma and Karin at Juliet's birthday party. Happy Birthday, Juliet!

Esther loves the rocking chair...this is what we use to put her to sleep at night (this and some good strong formula).

Mom was in a "dress up Esther" mood...the hat was a little small but still very cute.

Here's a very impractical but very sweet nightgown mom found at a thrift store a long time ago. Mom thinks she looks adorable but Esther looks less than pleased. OK, I guess you can go back to your regular PJ's.

I love this picture! Look at those perfect feet.

Yay! Daddy got a Wii!

"Wait...does this mean he won't play with me anymore?"

"I better make sure you bought the right games." (yes...she does have toys stuffed down her pants and shirt)

"What?!? No games for me?" (actually this is NOT a sad face, this is her being funny)

"Hi Mom, whatcha doin'?"

"Beauty calls, I better go check myself out in the mirror."

"Hello Gorgeous, it's me again." (Can you see how often she checks herself out? The mirror is filthy!)

She's clapping and waving now!!

When Esther claps, she looks at us to say "yay!" and clap too. She waves from her carseat so we can see her from the rearview mirror. She will sometimes wave at other people, too, but not always. She gets irritated with us if we don't hold her hands so she can walk around. She is eating more solid foods, but still loves her formula.

Trivia about Ivy: her favorite color is purple, she can say "woof" and "meow", and likes to pick out her outfits for the day.

It's our one month anniversary with Pan Pan....

...and she had her first pediatrician visit today. I guess it's not the most fun way to celebrate becoming a family but she was a super star! She cried pretty hard when the nurse gave her two shots and when she had her blood drawn but she charmed her doctor. The doctor says she is very healthy, though we will have to wait until we get her lab work back to be sure. Her weight and height and head circumference are average or above average.

Here she is waiting for the doctor:

Still waiting:

Yep, still waiting:

Later...having fun with her car:

"Daddy's shoe looks really tasty."
With her fauxhawk:

Helping to do the dishes:

"Any more?"

"I love my fridge boombox."

Eating Spongebob Square Pants (he tastes great!):

Spreading the love around...

...charming Vicki and posing for the camera (Esther loves the Love Sac):

"Hey Halie, take a picture with your phone of me eating my book. It'll look really cute, I promise!"

"I crack myself up, but do you think Cousin Halie finds me funny?"

Blinded by her beauty, Cousin John tries to distract Esther with his hat:

Here's what Esther has to look forward to with her Daddy:

Checking out Nana's and Papa's hands:

"Ummm, Esther you got something on your lip." (Papa and Cousin Mandy):

We've been home two weeks now.

"What? I don't drool...no really...."

Fish lips:

"I'm so funny!!"
"C'mon daddy, we're not done playing yet."

"Dad, ya want some of my french fry?"

"Yes, I will have some of your shake. Thank you, you're so kind."

"Is it time to do laundry?"

"Look, I can feed myself."
